Volkswagen has revealed the first design sketch of its all-new Touareg ahead of the car’s world premiere in Beijing next month.
The German manufacturer says the new Touareg will have an “expressive design, innovative technologies and dynamic handling properties”.
As well as serving as the brand’s flagship model, the third generation Touareg will also form the next milestone in what is the largest model campaign by Volkswagen.
The exclusive SUV C-segment is currently one of the fastest growing segments in global automotive markets and is expected to double its volume by the year 2023 in China, which currently sits not only as the world’s strongest growing SUV market but also as Volkswagen’s largest individual market.
Around one million Touaregs have been sold since the model series launched back in 2002.
