Subaru has unveiled the “VIZIV Tourer Concept” at the Geneva motor show, with the design study pointing to a future hot estate – which will perhaps serve as a successor model to the Impreza WRX estate.
Based on the Japanese brand’s “Dynamic x Solid” design philosophy – with a tourer twist – the prototype follows on from the VIZIV Performance Concept saloon that was revealed towards the end of last year at the Tokyo motor show.
The new estate concept measures 4,775 mm long, 1,930 mm wide and 1,435 mm tall. With a wheelbase of 2,730 mm, it has room for just four people on the inside.
Like most of the manufacturer’s road-going models, it also gets symmetrical AWD and a boxer engine, although specific performance attributes have not been disclosed at present.
Tech features, meanwhile, are said to include semi-autonomous driving technologies as well as advanced driver-assist functions including a next-generation version of Subaru’s EyeSight system.
