Subaru has unveiled the “VIZIV Adrenaline Concept” at the Geneva motor show, with the show car previewing the brand’s future styling direction.
Being purely a design study, Subaru has not disclosed any powertrain or technical specifications for the new car.
It simply says the VIZIV Adrenaline is the first concept vehicle to be designed under the company’s new “Bolder” design aesthetic.
The latter is a further development of Subaru’s “Dynamic x Solid” design philosophy, which was first announced by the Japanese manufacturer back in 2014.
The company has produced a number of “VIZIV” named design studies in recent years, with the VIZIV Tourer Concept and VIZIV Performance STI Concept being two such cars – both of which were revealed during the course of 2018.
Some of the previous concept cars have also been of the SUV variety, for example, the VIZIV-7 SUV (revealed at the 2016 LA Auto Show) and the VIZIV Future Concept (unveiled in Tokyo in 2015).
Subaru designers say VIZIV is a coined word originating from the phrase “Vision for Innovation”.
The new VIZIV Adrenaline most likely previews the brand’s next-generation XV.
