SEAT’s 20V20 concept car has been declared the winner in the “Concepts” category at this year’s Automotive Brand Contest. The award will be officially presented at the Frankfurt motor show next month.
The 20V20 (meaning ‘Vision 2020’) was originally revealed at the Geneva motor show back in March this year and foreshadows the brand’s future design language in the form of a sporty SUV.
“The 20V20 shows our ambition”, said SEAT boss Jürgen Stackmann during the company’s presentation in Geneva. “It is our guiding star and the lighthouse for our development for the coming five-year period”.
Organised by the German Design Council, the Automotive Brand Contest is considered to be one of the most important design competitions in the automotive sector. A jury consisting of industry journalists, university representatives and design practioners award the prize in a total of 15 categories.
