Call for Entries: BASF Car Seat Design Competition
BASF, one of the world’s largest chemical suppliers to the global automotive industry, has just launched “sit down. move.” – a competition to design a car seat.
The contest requires designers to envisage a car seat using BASF materials in a unique and innovative way. Alongside BASF representatives, those selected to pass judgement on the submitted entries include: industrial designer, Konstantin Grcic; former Pininfarina designer, Ken Kiyoyuki Okuyama; and former Executive Director of Interior Design America for GM, Dave Lyon.
The submission deadline is January 30, 2013.
