Lexus is hoping its all-new 2014 IS sport saloon will make an impact on audiences attending this year’s SEMA Show, which officially gets underway in Las Vegas this week.
Leading up to this year’s exhibition, Lexus undertook a partnership with deviantART, one of the largest online social network for artists, in a search for creatives to help boost the IS’ exterior styling with more aggressive designs.
DeviantArt and Lexus challenged the design community to show their vision for the 2014 IS with custom exterior treatments and modifications. The winning design will make its debut as a multi-dimensional build in the Lexus booth tomorrow.
In addition to revealing the DeviantArt contest winner, seven other Lexus IS builds, plus a one-of-a-kind LFA, will be on display at SEMA. The main highlights from among these customised projects include designs by alloy wheel maker Vossen (yellow) and carbon-fibre bodykit specialist Seibon Carbon (white).
