Video: Ferrari California T on the Roads of Monaco
In this exclusive video, Ferrari’s head of development test-drivers Raffaele De Simone gives us a taste of the California T’s driving capability on the streets and roads of Monaco.
He talks through the new car’s performance as it tackles the Col de Turini mountain pass, one of the toughest stages on the famous Monte Carlo Rally, the legendary Tunnel and, of course, the Monaco Grand Prix’s famous Loews hairpin.
The California T is powered by a turbocharged V8 engine mounted low in the chassis in a mid-front position that delivers 552 bhp at 7500 rpm and 557 lb-ft of torque. The car accelerates from the 0 to 62 mph in 3.6 seconds and has a top speed of 196 mph.
