Toyota Displays Custom Car Concepts at Tokyo Auto Salon
Toyota has put on a sporting display at this year’s Tokyo Auto Salon that ranges from the Yaris to the Lexus LFA. Its line-up of 10 cars includes new concepts from GRMN and G Sports, plus four different custom versions of the GT86.
Gazoo Racing’s LFA and GT86 are also on show, as the team confirms they will both be competing at the Nürburgring 24 Hours race in the spring.
The Tokyo Auto Salon, the world’s largest vehicle customisation show, officially opened today and continues until 13 January.
GT86 concepts
Toyota’s road-going GT86 coupe is known simply as “86” in Japan. Out of a total of four on display, two include the TOM’S N086V and the 86 TRD Griffon.

GRMN, Gazoo Racing’s customisation and tuning arm, as well as displaying their Lexus LFA, are unveiling the new GT86 GRMN Sports FR Concept Platinum.
G Sports
G Sports are presenting a sporting interpretation of the Japanese market’s Marx X saloon, complete with a lightweight carbon fibre roof.
