Robin Page Joins Volvo as Head Interior Designer

Volvo’s design team is expanding with a new member: Robin Page, formerly head of interior design at Bentley Motors, has joined Volvo Cars as Design Director Interior.
Before joining Volvo, Briton Robin Page (41) was head of interior design at Bentley Motors since 2001. At Bentley interior designs he was responsible for designing the interiors of the Continental and Mulsanne ranges, and also worked on special projects such as the interior design for the official State Limousine of British Queen Elizabeth II.
Page did an apprenticeship with Jaguar and at other stages in his career also performed design work for Rolls-Royce and Bugatti.
Thomas Ingenlath, Senior Vice President Design at Volvo Cars, is happy to welcome Page to his team. “Robin has a wealth of experience regarding high-quality, luxury interior design. Our aim is to raise the bar for Volvo design both in interior and exterior design, and Robin will play an instrumental role in achieving that,” says Ingenlath.
“This is a very exciting time to join the company, as Volvo is moving towards a truly unique design language and is reinforcing the strong identity it is known for,” says Page. “In terms of interior design, my aim will be to build on Volvo’s modern Scandinavian craftsmanship and take the brand to the next level when it comes to luxury.”
