A special edition version of the Porsche 911 Turbo S created to celebrate 40 years of the 911 Turbo has been unveiled. Porsche says the 911 Turbo S Exclusive GB Edition is unique to the UK market and will be limited to only 40 examples.
The car has been designed and developed by the German manufacturer’s personalisation department, namely, Porsche Exclusive.
Visually, the GB Edition takes styling cues from the original 911 Turbo ‘930’ from 1974. The black rear upper spoiler, 20-inch Sport Classic wheels in black, black finished exterior door handles, and the black ‘Porsche’ script along the sills aim to pay homage to the very first 911 Turbo.
Much like the standard Porsche 911 Turbo S, the limited-edition car features an all-wheel drive chassis with active rear axle steering, adaptive aerodynamics, full-LED headlights and a 552 bhp flat six-cylinder twin-turbocharged engine that enables it to sprint from 0 to 62 mph in 3.1 seconds and on to a top speed of 197 mph.
