Pininfarina Teases New Concept Car Ahead of Geneva Debut
Italian design studio Pininfarina has announced that it will be unveiling a new car at the Geneva motor show next month.
Aside from a single teaser image hinting at the car’s front-end, Pininfarina is yet to release any other details about the vehicle. However, the car is being described as an “innovative stylistic and technological jewel”.
The concept car will most likely be a performance model of some type, perhaps even a bespoke one-off model created for a wealthy private buyer.
Pininfarina’s last major project was the BMW Pininfarina Gran Lusso Coupé, which was designed in collaboration with BMW ahead of the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este in 2013.
Indian automotive group Mahindra has recently bought a controlling stake in Pininfarina, and this latest concept car will be the first under the new ownership.
Pininfarina will officially reveal the new design study at the Geneva motor show on 1 March.
