Peugeot Design Lab Wins Award from Automobile Magazine
The editorial team at Automobile Magazine have awarded Peugeot the Initiative Trophy for the launch of its design studio, Peugeot Design Lab.
For the 34th year in succession, Automobile Magazine awards its Trophies to individuals and innovations in the automobile world that stand out for their strategy, their novelty and their exploits. This new edition awards prizes to eight winners, including Peugeot for the successful launch and first creations of its Global Brand Design studio, Peugeot Design Lab. The editors salute “The talent of the in-house designers serving companies that wish to give form to their projects”.
The jury rewarded Peugeot Design Lab for its creations and in particular for the Peugeot Design Lab pour Pleyel piano, presented at the Paris Motor Show. The singer Mika and the Gospel One choir were on stage at the first concert for this revolutionary piano which took place at the Salle Pleyel on 3 December.
An industrial and product design studio available to external customers outside the automotive world, Peugeot Design Lab was launched in Paris in June 2012. Its objective is to develop strategies for brands that are strong and coherent aimed at reinforcing the customer’s identity, the values and codes. Its main mission is the design of products, services and experiences in all business sectors.
