Peugeot Design Lab Gets New Design Boss
Arnault Gournac will be appointed director of Peugeot Design Lab, effective May 2nd 2019. He is set to replace Cathal Loughnane who will be continuing his career outside the PSA Group.
In his new position, Gournac will be reporting directly to Peugeot’s marketing chief, Thierry Lonziano, as well as to the company’s car design boss, Gilles Vidal.
Gournac was previously senior director of innovation and UX at French international hypermarket chain, Carrefour Group. He also oversaw design at French sporting goods retailer, DECATHLON.
Founded in 2012, and covering everything from helicopter design to furniture design, the Peugeot Design Lab operates as the French carmaker’s industrial design arm, providing services to external customers, outside the traditional automotive sector. It also currently oversees the Peugeot Cycles brand.
The consultancy is located within the Peugeot Design Center (ADN) in Velizy, France.
