Nissan Teases Gripz Concept Ahead of Frankfurt Debut
Nissan has announced it will be unveiling the Gripz Concept at next week’s Frankfurt motor show.
The designers say inspiration for the concept car has come from the classic Datsun 240Z rally cars from the 1970s as well as the two-wheel world of road cycling.
“The design explores a new sporty direction for a crossover concept and was conceived to create an innovative new driving sensation,” said a company spokesperson.
Designed to build on the brand’s existing crossover range, the concpet likely previews a forthcoming SUV-inspired car that will revive the Japanese carmaker’s famous Z brand.
