ŠKODA’s forthcoming Kodiaq SUV has been previewed in new sketches ahead of its official reveal at the Paris motor show later on this year in September.
The pair of teaser sketches suggest the production model’s exterior design will follow the look of the VisionS concept that preceded it.
“We are entering a new segment with our first large SUV above the Yeti. And at the same time, the Kodiaq is the first model with the new ŠKODA SUV design language,” said ŠKODA design boss, Jozef Kabaň.
The designer says the brand is aiming to become “much more emotive” with the styling of its future models.
Under the skin, the Kodiaq’s engine range will most likely be borrowed from the Superb saloon. A plug-in hybrid variant is also expected later on down the line.
