Lotus has unveiled a new limited edition version of its Exige V6 Cup. Dubbed the 360 Cup, the car will be limited to just 50 examples.
Custom exterior features include a matte black roof, “Motorsport Red” wheels, a lightweight front access panel and a rear tailgate with a louvered cover.
Developed by Lotus Motorsport, the car is also fitted with a track-focused aero pack, two-way adjustable suspension, new grooved brake discs and a flat underside that helps deliver a claimed 42 kg of downforce at 100 mph.
Lotus says adjustable anti-roll bars, Öhlins race dampers, FIA carbon seats, air conditioning and a removable steering wheel will be made available as optional extras.
In terms of performance, the new model gets an increase in power of 10 bhp, which takes peak output to 355 bhp. Lotus engineers say this has been achieved through the use of a “freer flowing induction and a sports exhaust system”. The 360 Cup is also lighter than the regular Exige V6, shaving off almost 45 kg to achieve an overall weight of 1130 kg.
