Kia to Reveal New Concept Car at Chicago Auto Show
Kia has announced it will be unveiling what it describes as an “advanced and capable” electric all-wheel drive concept vehicle at the upcoming Chicago Auto Show.
Dubbed e-AWD, the off-roader has been conceived by Kia’s California design studio and is said to be aimed primarily at city dwellers.
“Intended to enable a wide array of outdoor activities from skiing and snowboarding, to camping, hiking and mountain biking, this rugged runabout captures the essence of adventuring at higher elevations with the promise of surefootedness in the wild,” explained a company spokesman.
The concept’s front end looks very Soul-like in the sole teaser image released by the company today. Some industry insiders are suggesting Kia might be adding an all-wheel-drive Soul to its product lineup.
