Hyundai Reveals First Sketch of All-New i10
Hyundai has revealed the first sketch of the all-new i10 city car ahead of its global debut at the Frankfurt motor show later on this September.
The third generation A-segment model features redefined proportions, with the car’s width, height and wheel size all getting revised, resulting in an “energetic and agile” look, according to the Korean carmaker’s design team.
Specific details include a wider front grille, as well as triangular-shaped air curtains that are claimed to not only accentuate the width and stance of the car but also help improve aerodynamics.
Along the side, the new i10 will feature an “X-shaped C-pillar”, which is meant to be visible from far away, and which it is further claimed will draw the eye to a pillar-mounted logo.
Hyundai has yet to disclose any technical or performance details for the new car, which is being designed, developed and built in Europe.
