Ferrari originally unveiled the 488 GTB in February last year ahead of the 2015 Geneva motor show.
Taking over from the 458 Italia, the 488 GTB became Ferrari’s first mid-engined turbocharged supercar since the famous F40.
In March this year the new berlinetta went on to win the Red Dot Best of the Best design award. Shaped by aerodynamicists at the Ferrari Styling Centre, the 488 GTB’s body generates 50 per cent more downforce than the 458 Italia.
In terms of performance, the 3.9-litre V8 turbo engine – recently named winner of the 2016 International Engine of the Year Award – delivers 660 bhp and 561 lb-ft of torque, which enables a 0-124 mph time of 8.3 seconds.
